Proprietor Sandra McCluskey brings a rich culinary and catering background to
Splendid Fare. A Washington-area event planner, Sandra moved to France to hone her culinary skills at La Varenne cooking school
and Le Bellecour, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris. This unique experience led her to open Le Bon
Café, a Parisian-style café on Capitol Hill, in 1991. Splendid Fare Catering was a natural evolution to this
thriving restaurant and was opened in 1994 in Old Town Alexandria.
